I found that the cable assembly on mine were frozen as well. I used Sea Foam’s Deep Creep and one of these to lubricate the cable:

Interesting re:model year. So mine may better match ones that proclaim to be a 68?

My plane is a 68, so that's what I'm going to check it against.  Would you prefer black?  I have black filament as well.

I do think I’d prefer a pair of black handles.

Hank, of course it does. And it's second one for the year model which makes it special.

For some reason, a lot of people find surprising that 68 model is built in a fall of 67 but all of the car manufacturers do that  and no one blinks. :D

My 67F (s/n 670091) was first time flown on 10/1/66...

Hi, John! I tried messaging you but it says you cannot receive messages.  Did you end up discovering an extra handle/lever? Thanks!

As I recall I had a good one and a cracked one.  The handles are more substantial than the ones pictured.  I need to look in several boxes.  I will try to look this weekend.  Very cold here to be picking around in attics but will look.

What happens when you tried to message me?

I printed 5 of these trying different settings.  I have 2 black ones that look like functional parts.  They are someone else's design so I can't sell them ethically but if you want them I will mail them to you.  The print quality is not excellent but they look ok16474658638488727379376319910150.thumb.jpg.05a8c365b4ef9b2ed7d60e03f521a3b6.jpg and seemed to fit my plane.  FYI you will need slightly longer screws.  If you want them send me a message with your address.

Hello Folks, recently purchased a 68 Mooney M20G, and looking for a back seat level. The picture shown here by @Utah20Gflyerlooks like exactly what I am looking for. Any chance you still have one or two spare? Let me know! Thanks!!!!!!
