carusoam Posted August 15, 2020 Report Posted August 15, 2020 When air handling and water handling are kept separate.... The water isn’t able to be blown into the cabin.... For the most part.... melting ice and water is pumped through the heat exchanger one side and air is blown through the fins of the heat exchanger on the air side..... If small amounts of moisture are a concern... add a separator to keep the ice water mix away from the air blowing through... the B-kool is a really simple system That works incredibly well... Does need an ice source for convenience... PP thoughts only... Best regards, -a- Quote

I tried one a few years back, I let it run several hours and it wouldn't even drop the cabin temp 1° , it did blow cold air if you were within 10". I put it back in the box and told the guy selling it "No Thanks!". Ended up installng a "kool scoop" which works really well at diverting air into the cabin Quote
