Trying to order this box, but theyre in Canada and only have one distributor here. Jupiter Avionics.  Seems you need to be a shop to order?

Not necessarily.  It's available at a us distributor, but I think you have to be a business to order

Already contacted them. They pushed me on to a local supplier, who has since given me a price and a 3-5 day delivery time. I've passed the information on.

It's neat stuff, but pricey. 

That box is dang near $600.  

I like it, I want it, but before I order it, does anyone know of anything comparable for less?

Make your own? $600.00 will buy a lot of material/supplies/tools

They make quality stuff. We have installed several usb/glove boxes in PC-12’s. That being said, we have also fabricated custom sheet metal boxes. All depends on the customers needs and budget.

With the opening up of panel space going on lately... this could be an interesting project...

I’ll see if I have pics of other panels. I know that we have done a couple bonanzas. The Mooney has a major real estate problem. Most of the time we are filling space with radios. Let me see what I can find.

Not sure how secure you need it, or size, but that reminds me allot of a small handgun safe that can be had for $100 and are mountable if you wish.
