  1. The GMA340 typically has some side to side movement. 12VDC is plenty and won’t cause this. Try pushing the buttons slightly harder. I have seen this more than once on a 340. If it works when you push harder then the issue is in the unit. A re rack is a good start if what I mentioned above doesn’t work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. All GTN models can be updated to current software. No issues regardless of part number. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ll see if I have pics of other panels. I know that we have done a couple bonanzas. The Mooney has a major real estate problem. Most of the time we are filling space with radios. Let me see what I can find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. They make quality stuff. We have installed several usb/glove boxes in PC-12’s. That being said, we have also fabricated custom sheet metal boxes. All depends on the customers needs and budget. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The manual says that a GDL82 should not be installed with a mode s transponder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The tubing size for the fan is likely 5/8”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No problem. The fan itself is very easy to remove. Getting access to it in a Mooney can be very difficult as there is little to no room behind the radios. This all depends on how your radio stack is configured. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Here you go. Four screws for removal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yes, the fan is mounted on the back of the rack. As mentioned above, access will be the worst part. I’m not sure of the availability of the fan to anyone other than Garmin dealers. When I get to work I can take a pic of one and post it so you have an idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The GFC500 manual REV 9 has the Carlisle CAN wiring listed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
