    The GMA340 typically has some side to side movement. 12VDC is plenty and won’t cause this. Try pushing the buttons slightly harder. I have seen this more than once on a 340. If it works when you push harder then the issue is in the unit. A re rack is a good start if what I mentioned above doesn’t work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    No problem. The fan itself is very easy to remove. Getting access to it in a Mooney can be very difficult as there is little to no room behind the radios. This all depends on how your radio stack is configured. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yes, the fan is mounted on the back of the rack. As mentioned above, access will be the worst part. I’m not sure of the availability of the fan to anyone other than Garmin dealers. When I get to work I can take a pic of one and post it so you have an idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
