Good morning.

I have been thinking about buying a Mooney Acclaim and would like to know if anyone that owns one and uses the WnBPro App be able to share its code so that I could run some samples/combinations of trips, fuel, people and stops to see where I would stand and if it would work for me and my main routes.

Thank you,

Thank you Alex.

I have my own legal copy to use.

But the App allows you to share codes from different airplanes to learn and compare on how other airplanes would manage in different weight and balance scenarios.

OH, I am so sorry.  I misread your post.  I hope I did not offend you.

I set up my O in WnB...

let me know if that would be helpful...

it’s been about eight years since I shared it with anyone...

expect it to take several days to warm up an old iPad1 and get anything out of it...

expect to have about 1K#s UL...

2 people and full tanks... 100gallons.

4 people and half tanks...

hard to get out of Cg...

PP thoughts only, not a CFI...

:)

Best regards,

Nooo, not at all. Thank you.

And thank you Carusoam for the info on the Ovation. I really appreciate it.

Hope you both have a nice weekend,

Thank you again for the info on your O.

Would you happen to have your Share Code for the WnBPro App?

I understand this is for information purposes only and if you share it you can only visualize and not change parameters.

Thank you

Fernando...

I have been working on this off and on this week...

The old iPad has the data... I saw it...

I’m going to try again later tonight... the iPad doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long...

I know I have shared the details before... but couldn’t find the share code option on the old iPad and ancient app...

Under the ‘actions’ button... there was a hopeful option... share aircraft...

Brilliant! The memories come flooding back.... but the app stalls.
“An unknown error occurred, please try again later...”

So...

How about some raw data...?

Some words about this data... it may have applied to my Ovation when I first got it... I set up a few scenarios with two and four people...Full tanks or half tanks...

I haven’t used this app in at least eight years... so the quality of the data is really unknown...

Please, give it a try...

Point out anything that is wrong... or can be fixed...

I have left some notes in here as well...

Then share some screen shots... we can discuss the results...

Interesting point... The Long Bodies can depart at a higher weight than they can land... 100gallons can go really far...

If you use an Acclaim... you can go really far and extra fast over the ground... thin air and TN’d engines are magical...

I use my O flying up and down the East coast... my only question having this plane... can I hold onto this plane into retirement... I have quite a few years to go to find out... sort of...  :)

Airplane Properties tab...

Tail number...N...57M (specific to my plane eight years ago, yours is probably different, mine has changed some)

Model...M20R (a long body with a NA IO550, MSE version)

Landing weight option...on (MGToW is a bit higher than LW, about an hour of fuel’s weight)

max zero fuel weight...off... ( not an issue for Mooneys...)

Stations tab (the important stuff)

Pilot 36  slider 0 - 350

Copilot 39 (note that there is a range for the seats... I put one forward and the other back as a reminder of the limits...) Slider 0 - 350

Left rear 73 (there may also be a range here with seat back movement...) Slider 0 - 400

Right rear 73 Slider 0 - 350

Fuel 49.23 Slider 0 -100  weight is 5.82

Baggage 101.5  Slider 0 - 120

Hat rack 131 Slider 0 - 10

Empty weight 43.6    2317

Normal envelope... (important details...)

Arm 41 weight 2000

Arm 41 weight 2430

Arm 44 weight 3300 (MGLW?)

Arm 46 weight 3368 (MGToW)

Arm 51 weight 3368

Arm 51weight 2000

We don’t get a Utility envelope...

We don’t get a Aerobatic envelope either...

Cruise speed is about 175kts burning 15gph

Cruise LOP speed is about 165 burning 12.5gph

Fernando,

If you crank in that data...

you should get a result that looks like this...

Please remember these are only private pilot thoughts being shared... do not use for actual flight data...

F,
If you put this data into WnB....

I would love if you were to share a copy back with me!

I want to get it updated to match my current weight and fuel burns...

And get it on my modern iPad...

The old iPad1 is quite a dog! :)

it must have crashed a dozen times just going through the pages...

Best regards and GO Mooney!,

Perfect!

Thanks for sharing the data back.

For anyone else following along... the data belongs to an O1 in original stock 280hp form...

Fernando,

I haven’t looked close enough yet... but you should also be able to get the max landing weight line in there as well... :)

Best regards,
