Newer models glare shield rheostats

My Bravo GX lost compass glare shield lights and flap indicators lights etc.

The control box that controls all the interior lights is the culprit, Mooney wants north of $1000 to replace, any one have same issue, seems like rebuilding the unit holding the two rheostats would fix the issue

Indeed I had to change a ST microelectronics transistor on my lighting box (M20J) few years ago. Total cost 2$.

If you don’t want to mess around with repairing the Mooney control box you can replace them with MaxDim controllers. They are about $250 from Spruce and are STC’ed for M20s

And I believe rheostats fall under standard electronic parts - ANSI Etc.

And PWM boxes are pretty cheap these days.
