I'd like to buy a good quality reprint of my POH to have a copy. Any suggestions for a source with good quality and a good price?

You could always try photographing your existing copy. Our friends at the Vintage Mooney Group also have them available as pdf files, which you can always print up however you want.

Try http://www.esscoaircraft.com/

I bought several manuals for my J from them. The quality is not perfect, but good enough for use at home.

You can get the Lycoming Operators Manual, Parts Catalogue (Lycoming and Mooney) as well as the Maintenance Manual there, too.

I had a photocopy made so I could leave the original in the aircraft, and carry the copy around to use for planning.  That way, you never take the original home or to the office to make a flight plan, and then forget to bring it back to the airport with you.  Can't fly the airplane without the "missing part."

The advantage of using a photocopy is that it is not a "generic" manual, it has all the limitations, specifications, performance graphs, and the equipment list for your particular serial number.   I haven't had occasion to try to use a generic for flight planning with a Mooney, but have with the Cessna Skyhawk and there are some signficant differences between versions of the same model.

Get the memory stick version from Mooney.  You can then print as many copies as you need!  I've copied them to my laptop so I can access them when I want, and leave the stick in the aircraft so if I ever get a problem away from home I have the Maintenance manual and parts catalog which I can pass to an A&P

Consider this...

If you are iPad capable, I tested a borrowed .pdf version last week.  Now I need to spend time with the scanner to make a .pdf of my exact POH.  Leave the official part in the plane have .pdf readily accesible at home and office or wherever the iPad gets used.....

keep in mind that you may need to insert in the POH some items specific to your aircraft.

With many  form 337 type of mods (like adding standby vaccum or fuel flow , etc ...) your  A&P needs to insert pages in the POH.

Essco Aircraft has different versions of the POH, in my case it is a exact copy of mine. You can check the revision number on the Mooney website. Your specific supplements are missing, for flight planning you usually won't need them.

In my quest to get everything onto my Ipad making it a true EFB, I have now downloaded all of the opearating manuals for the A/C avionics in PDF format from the Mfg sites. These include King, Garmin, Stec, Shadin Miniflow etc. which are now easily searchable with the Goodreader App. More to the point is the POH. Try www.DeltaAviationLLC.com. Mark Woods has included a number of POH manuals for our Mooney's & the cost is free. Although generic you will save time by only copying the specific pages needed your A/C manual preferable as PDF's & substituting them for the pages in your downloaded copy.

A '67 M20F doesn't have a serial number-specific POH, just a paperback 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 "Owners Manual" (POH1194).  A few years ago, Mooney was giving away a thumb drive with all the parts, service, and POH manuals for pre-J models, along with service bulletins and instructions.  I'm pretty sure the Vintage Mooney Group still has that info on a CD for about $10 or so.  Dave, if you PM me with your e-mail address, I can e-mail you a PDF of the manual.

Here's something that will let you "adjust" the pdf file:  http://www.pdftoword.com/  I made my checklists the old-fashioned way, by retyping them out of my Owner's Manual, adding/deleting/rearranging to suit my taste. This will save a lot of the grunt work, and come in handy on other occasions, too.
