new avation user fees proposed by FAA administrato

Just got an email from a good pilot friend of mine regarding the Obama administration has sent a memo to many federal agencys asking for ideas on how to increase revenues to the federal government.One proposal is for fees to renew pilots licenses yearly ,reported @ 20usd.But wait it get better..any pilot not flying at least 100 hrs a year would pay an additional 1oo usd to make up for fuel taxes the feds would otherwise recieve.This would apply to any additional licenses the pilot also has.For an IFR ticket ,it would be another 100 bucks for any pilot logging less than 10 hrs actual.And so on...the email refences nbaa president ed bolen as saying of all the stupid,silly a** proposals I have heard about,this one takes the cake!!!Hopefully this is all a hoax....anyone else heard anything along these lines....kp couch
