Dream to fly Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 Send yours into LASAR and have them rebuild it. They rebuilt mine three months ago and it works and doesn't leak. Wasn't very expensive either. Three day turn around but I live in the middle of no mans land. Quote
philipneeper Posted August 23, 2017 Author Report Posted August 23, 2017 Mine isn't the rebuild kind. And the valve works fine. Mine had a broken bolt in where the sump attaches. Corroded and snapped off. Couldn't drill and re tap. Quote

I messed with recently and did an offer, which i was very reasonable, sent me a PM, long story short, what he list is what he wants. Called all the big named salvage places, no joy. I got a guy in FL that is looking and supposed to let me know. I saw a post on here from 2014 that John posted having one. Sent him a PM as well. Quote

Or did some one try and make it worse? Can you post a photo? Quote

N601RX Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 As mentioned above a sinker edm will remove it or you can put it in an anodizing tank for a few minutes and the broken tap or bolt will be eroded away. Quote
