New to Mooneys and Mooneyspace!

Hey guys,

I recently bought this M20K Rocket a few months ago and just signed up here at Mooneyspace yesterday. I'm new to Mooney ownership as well, any tips/things to watch out for? I just dropped it off for annual last week so hopefully get flying again here soon.

Welcome!! Congrats on the new bird. A few people here looked at that airplane prior to your acquisition. I had a few controller ads printed on it while I was researching rockets for a friend. Looked really nice on paper, I never made it up to look at it before the owner backed out. 

New engine if I recall?!

Welcome and congrats. There are several threads about general topics specific to Mooneys, but I'm sure a few of the rocket owners will chime in with specifics to that model. 

If nothing else, at least you got one with an awesome paint scheme.

Ah, someone bought cg. We had a prebuy done and ultimately settled on a different plane. It's a nice flying plane.

Yep, fresh overhaul by Corona and a fresh tank seal by Paul Beck.
