zaitcev Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 I do not see a link or any UI element that marks forums read. Is this how it is supposed to be? Quote
flight2000 Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Yes. If there are new posts that you haven't seen, it'll say new "jump to new" next to the thread title. You'll have to be logged in and go to each forum to see it though. Or you can click on the "View New Posts" link , but I don't use that feature all that often. Brian Quote
Cruiser Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 to mark the post read..... after getting the list of messages as Brian says above, put a check mark in the box to the left of each message or to select all, check mark the Forum box at the top, and then click on delete at the bottom. Note: this does not delete the message, it marks the message (post) as read and it will not appear again in the list of new messages the next time you check. You can always go to the forum and see all messages there. Quote
carusoam Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 you can always read all of the posts.......It is quite a challenge, especially if you have gotten off to a late start!!! Quote

zaitcev Posted February 5, 2011 Author Report Posted February 5, 2011 Thank you for the suggestions. I'll try to go through the "View New Posts" + Delete route for now. -- Pete Quote
Jeff_S Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 This must be a Windows-only thing, as I see neither check boxes nor delete buttons anywhere on the screen using my Mac, with either Safari or FireFox. Interesting. Quote
zaitcev Posted April 9, 2011 Author Report Posted April 9, 2011 Hi Jeff: I'm on Linux, so it's not a Windows-specific function. Try http://mooneyspace.com/index.cfm?mainaction=newposts (copy-paste the URL). -- Pete Quote
Jeff_S Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Ah, I was reading the instructions wrong. I got to the appropriate page with that link...thanks! Quote
