Does anyone have experience with the paint shop at Okeechobee? I've heard good things about Hawk in Tampa. Going to need to paint soon and would like to find a quality local shop. Any experience would help.

Hawk is good.  My plane has been painted a year now. There were also several K below other name shops and they don't sand the airplane or charge extra for the small dings and stuff that planes have.  Their body man Sean is a wizard.

Joe took delivery of our M20C day before yesterday.  Will let you know but we are expecting good things from him and his shop. So far we are very impressed.

Jim

Sure look forward to seeing your finished product.  Super exciting this is for you and your dad!  :)

Based on the positive reputation of the Hawk facility Jim, your C will also be terrific looking.

I like your color choices and your decision to keep the original scheme.

Best to you all.
