Clarleston Int'l (KCHS) isn't bad for a big Class C airport, but you might be more comfortable at smaller Charleston Exec (KJZI).

Same can be said for Savannah, with KSAV being the bigger Class C, and Hunter (KSVN) being a small, one runway field, with few services.

Last Thursday, I flew in and out of KSAV. I used Signature, and had good service there.  They will give you a courtesy car so you can go into the downtown area if you like for lunch and to walk around.  I try to avoid Signature as much as possible, but had to meet a client there and had no choice.  I also landed at KCHS years ago because of thunderstorms, and remember they gave me good service back then.  I don't remember the FBO at KCHS.  At Signature in KSAV, they give you free cookies, free popcorn, free ice tea/lemonaid.  They only charged me for fuel, no ramp fee or handling fee for some reason, and no landing fee.
