Cowl looks odd, but that tail leading edge sure looks vertical, based on angle between the tail and the fuselage.  Do any other planes have this?

Well there you have it.  Interesting airplane.

Video of one flying:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykAI2oXztkI

Performance on the last variant produced:  https://www.flightglobal.com/FlightPDFArchive/1958/1958%20-%200671.PDF

In case someone wants to pick one up:  http://www.avbuyer.com/aircraft-for-sale/saab/91-safir/289479

Given the O-360 A1A, appearance and configuration, it seems to have some general similarity to an M20C, but somewhat slower and with aerobatic capability.  The rudder is huge.

Radar altimeter calibrated in centimeters?

Manic depressive off his lithium?

Novice actor trying out against Corky Fornoff, for another James Bond movie?

I saw the plane pass through the St. Louis arch, but this is a little much.
