Northeast Mooney Pilots, NJMP is flying in to Reading PA KRDG for a noon lunch fly in. All welcome.

Got in late but will try to make it after the N57 pancake breakfast.

Really wish I could join you all today. I'm in NJ with my Mooney now (Robbinsville-N87) but have prior engagements and then have to head back to MA this afternoon.

I did just get to meet Anthony at Princeton this morning. Great to put a face to a name behind  all the helpful communications and posts.

I'm from NJ originally so will consider myself an honorary NJMP member. ;)

I'll keep my ears open for any future fly-ins.

Regards,

Lance

So finally all stars were aligned properly for my first fly in with NJMP.  Work free weekend, good weather, well rested.

If you wonder why I made that 180 suddenly it's when my transponder died and the ATC lost me on the radar. It came back after while and I stayed another two hours VFR in the air and it was fine. Strange coincidence but I couldn't risk to lose it in the Class D airspace. My GTN750 was intermittent too and on my practice RNAV approach it downgraded LPV to LNAV as the GPS lost integrity. I will see my avionics guy to get it checked.

Reading was a blast!

Weather was great. Food was served hot. Mooney people are wonderful.

We'll have to do this again soon for the people that couldn't make it.

Best regards,

Anyone take pictures? I was going to come over but was dealing with a flap problem. How many people showed up?

My two year old had her birthday yesterday so we had family engagements, but it sounds like it was fun - and what a great fall flying day yesterday. -B
