I'm looking to fill an available 3" round hole with a backup electric attitude indicator. Falcon has some amazing prices on their units. Googling around I see some have a low opinion on them but I'm not sure if it's based on true experience or just "it's cheap" attitude.

Has anyone here run one of these? Any specific experiences?

It has a 12v light?

It is non TSO'd.

It is made in China.

Price 1.7 AMU.

Can you share a link of what you are looking for?

best regards,

Not too worried about non-TSO'd. The FSDO will field approve it. I've already spoken with them. The TSO is only an issue for 135.

Still have my certified turn coordinator. Not removing anything. No min standard to meet because it serves no regulatory function. Only requirement is that it's not in the "primary view" meaning it's outside of the 6 pack.
