Yes, get a PPI. I implicitly trust AA to tell you everything they know about the plane, but they don't necessarily know everything. Incidentally, the owner may not know everything you, as the buyer, will want to know.

AA is the sellers agent.  Like with real estate it is good to have a buyers agent.   It is easy to get the planes over to Don Maxwell and he be your buyers agent.

PPI is critical to protecting your wallet from your "investment."

When purchasing expensive, used, machinery with no warranties or guaranties the buyer is responsible for his own mistakes.

There is risk when buying used old machinery...

One nice thing, there are reputable people selling used old machinery. (There are the others as well)

The other nice thing, a used O can fly as fast as a new O, for half the price...

The coolest thing, a 50yr old M20C will fly faster than the newest C172...
