Epiphyte Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 With great pains, I am finally putting my mooney up for sale. She has been amazing, but due to growing family and aging car fleet, we have decided to sell. My father and I share in another aircraft, so I'll stay in the air....just not in the style I grew spoiled, over the last few years. N1016S was owened by a general surgeon, for over 10 years prior to me. She was always hangared, and pampered with general maintenance, as only a person with money could muster. N201MKTurbo Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 Wow, Weed. My Inlaws live in LMT. We used to go fishing at Lake Shastina all the time. If I recall we turned left at Weed. If they would move that town down by Ukiah it would have the perfect name. 1 Quote
Marauder Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I want to know the story behind the nice lady with a rifle in her hand... Quote
fantom Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I want to know the story behind the nice lady with a rifle in her hand... Not only are you an old man; you're a DIRTY old man! Quote
Marauder Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Not only are you an old man; you're a DIRTY old man! Quite the opposite. My wife won't have anything to do with hunting. A rare find if this is indeed what this lady is preparing for. Now, you concluding that it was a sexual oriented question confirms to me that you indeed are the dirty old man on this thread! Quote
Epiphyte Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 Lake shastina has really gone to pot with drought...much like ukiah all the time. As for the rifle lady that's my wife. We flew down to mammoth for a biathlon last winter. Amazing views over southern sierras and plane ran great! This is a good deal, because I don't want to sit on it for a long time, so definitely priced to sell. Quote
KSMooniac Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Good luck with the sale, Troy! You priced it right. I'm glad it is back in the air too. Quote
fantom Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Now, you concluding that it was a sexual oriented question confirms to me that you indeed are the dirty old man on this thread! Oh sure! Your lecherous inclinations are exposed once again. Quote
Marauder Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Oh sure! Your lecherous inclinations are exposed once again. Alright, admit it -- we're both dirty old men! Still want to know what she is doing with the rifle. 1 Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 What's the story on the "longer" range tanks From the typical 64? Or is this the original fuel capacity? Bladders or wet wing? Quote
Bradg33 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 What's the box on the top side of the right stack (above the ADF)? Quote
Epiphyte Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 Tanks are factory capacity. No bladders. I noticed that mentioning tank size was something mentioned on other sales lists. As for the rifle....I had to ski and shoot with it, then my wife used it later to make a point. 2 Quote
