Someone recently posted about a repair facility for these...try the search function.  Personally, I think it is good money after bad and you should consider a modern engine monitor that can replace those things.  There are several options now and the prices aren't terrible.

We recently had a Hobbs issue and it turns out on our 1999 Eagle the hobbs runs through the tach on the Moritz. Ours was bad and I do not think anyone is repairing them any more. We wired the new hobbs to master so she is running faster. The engine monitor is the way to go but stuff is attached to the Moritz so be aware.

The R Moritz gauge is a differant part number and can't be legally substituted for the S Moritz guage with one exception. If you have the Midwest 310 Hp STC you can use the R fuel gauge in place of the S Moritz gauge since the STC allows the upgrade to 89 gals of fuel and the use of the R fuel gauge in place of the S fuel guage.
