nomad12 Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 My dad is currently on a leisurly solo cross country from Birmingham AL to San Diego. He left San Marcos a few hours ago. He is running lean of peak. Some of you may have seen this yellow bird before but it is a sight. Cheers! http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N67HR 1 Quote

PMcClure Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 I have seen your dad's plane at KEET. It get's a lot of attention on the ramp! Good flight! Quote
nomad12 Posted October 8, 2013 Author Report Posted October 8, 2013 He just took off for the last and shortest leg of the day. Headwind all day. He was happy the he was getting 15gph @ 18,000. Quote
smccray Posted October 9, 2013 Report Posted October 9, 2013 Looks like a fun flight. What exactly happened between San Marcos and San Diego? 4 Hrs to El Paso then landing at 3:20 MST. Then Flight Aware shows a departure at 3:15 MST from Tuscon. Something there doesn't make sense. I know the Acclaim is fast, but if has enough speed for that data to be accurate I'm really impressed. nomad12 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Report Posted October 9, 2013 He filed a flight plan for el paso but ended up going to Tuscon. That messed it the data for that leg. Quote
nomad12 Posted October 14, 2013 Author Report Posted October 14, 2013 He just left to head back. Plan for the first leg is 1231sm to San Marcos to get the cheap gas before it end tommorow or sooner. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N67HR Quote
