Jeff_S Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 The AIM is the place to look for the definition of all these codes. I don't know the exact section but it's in there somewhere. Quote
Glenn Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 You might try FltPlan.com. It is a very useful free resource. Once you sign up, you can build a profile of your plane (See the menu on the left side of the home page.) It will walk you through all of the choices and provide the proper codes for your airplane if you choose to use the ICAO flight plan form, which is said to help your chances of getting GPS direct IFR routing. If you use this service to file your flight plan, they will also email or txt you the route that you are likely to be given by ATC. Quote
Marauder Posted August 1, 2013 Author Report Posted August 1, 2013 Thanks guys! There were a lot of codes in there that I had never seen before. I thought my business had overdone acronyms, but this list puts it all to shame! Quote
Jerry 5TJ Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 These look like the equipment codes for ICAO flight plans. Have a look at http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/fss/AppendixA.htm for some of the details. Quote
wishboneash Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 There is some detailed info here on ADS-C (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Contract) http://777cheatsheets.com/resources/ADS.pdf Quote
DAVIDWH Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 Just returned from Chong Ching, I am pretty sure it is Mandarin. Quote
