Need A&P for Pre-Purchase Insp Conroe TX

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a M20E. It's in Conroe TX. It would be great if there was a qualified Mooney mechanic some where in the Houston area. If not, I guess it will go to Don Maxwells.

Any recomendations would be appreciated.

I'd just send it to Maxwell. If it needs attention to any squawks after the prebuy is complete, he's got the best resources to get it fixed.

It is an easy and recommended flight to Maxwell's shop.

+1 on using Don Maxwell for the pre-buy. He did mine and did a fabulous job. If for some reason, the seller doesn't want to fly it to Longview, Dugosh in Kerrville or Russell with Southwest Texas Aviation in San Antonio are a couple of other options. Any three will do you right.

Going with Maxwell is a good idea, if he is close, even better...
