steve s Posted July 23 Report Posted July 23 My switch keeps shutting off. I had the pump replaced and had the amps checked at 32 so my A&P is saying it’s the switch. Does anyone know the rating of the switch and where I can find one I see it’s an Eaton Switch. Thanks
MikeOH Posted July 23 Report Posted July 23 If you are saying the standby electric pump is drawing 32 Amps, that seems way too much! I think, for a 28V system, it should be 6 to 8 Amps.
Fritz1 Posted July 24 Report Posted July 24 I got rid of my mechanical standby vacuum pump when I bought the Bravo, switch was stuck and standby pump was running all the time, installed RC Allen 2600 electric horizon instead, still like that setup, vacuum and electric, two different sources of energy, one will keep working even if there is a zombie apocalypse
PT20J Posted July 24 Report Posted July 24 Mine was a 15A breaker/switch. 32A is way too high. Did you replace the motor, or just the pump? 1
Niko182 Posted July 24 Report Posted July 24 I might have one in the boxes in my garage. Let me see if I can find it
hypertech Posted July 25 Report Posted July 25 I have one. Make me an offer. Mine says ETA 41-10-P10 15 amp. Came off a 2000 Ovation.
