I don’t disagree with any of you, but does it strike you as odd that the defense department either doesn’t know or won’t acknowledge what exactly is happening? Seems it would be easy to just point out the obvious things that all of you have pointed out and put the whole thing to rest.

Does this look like everything is under control? It's just airplane sightings?

100% agree that it's very odd.  From the start I would have expected DoD, DHS to just explain many are aircraft and legit drones.  The whole "we don't know" and "we're investigating" just breeds fear in the population....oh, wait, could THAT be it?

I wish I could claim credit for this...  Someone over in one of the FB Groups pointed out that all these drones that are being spotted (the real drones) will all suddenly go away when they get their fill of photography all the Christmas light!!!

I agree that this "major" story will fade into obscurity. Remember when the media was broadcasting stories ad nauseam about using cell phones near gas pumps?

I think obscurity has arrived.
