The Sun-N-Fun fly-in is next week, Tuesday through Sunday. I will be spending most of the week at the Dynon Avionics booth in southwest corner of Hangar B. Please feel free to stop by for a demo of the Dynon equipment and a quote on a panel upgrade.

Hey, Jesse. I can't make the event, but I'm very interested in a full SkyView with Auto Pilot. Do you know when / if the AP will be approved for Vintage Mooneys? Or if I can install it under NORSEE without the STC making it through the FAA maze???

I hope to be there next year! I'll certainly have time, retiring next month when the plant closes. It's getting lonely there now . . .

The M20 mid bodies are next up for the autopilot STC. It doesn’t seem like the short bodies will make it on this STC this time around. I’m not an A&P or an FAA guy but I don’t see how you can the AP installed legally without the STC. If that were the case, why would Dynon go through the trouble of getting it STC’d?

Yep, the NORSEE rules to promote GA Safety apparently don't apply for the single largest contributor to flight safety, the auto pilot . . . .

And they wonder why we call them "Feds AGAINST Aviation"!!
