Hi gang,

My Brittain TC100 TnB has flown to avionics paradise (corner shelf in my hangar) when it started showing left and right turns during level flight in smooth air...  I am thinking of replacing the TnB with a new attitude indicator (AC91-75).  What are your pireps on RCA2610-3 and uAvionics 30?  I'm not sure if I'll hook up the uAvionics to the pitot static.  It's not my primary goal for now...

Pireps?  Comments?

Cheers

My panel is torn apart right now and my AI is removed.  An AV-30 and wiring harness is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.  Can comment on performance soon I hope.  I think the pitot/static connection is required but I take another look at the manual; I'm doing it either way.  Please offer up that Brittain TC if you're not using it.  I'm keeping mine.

It's only good as core at this moment... Nobody should use it to fly!

They can be overhauled likely at Porter Strait in Tulsa.  Is it a TC100EVT? Those seem hard to find.

TC10012EVS.  Vacuum and electric powered, drives the Brittain wing leveler.  Yea, it is indispensable if you're using the wing leveler system.  Apparently the going price is $150 https://simhq.com/store/Brittain-TC100EVS-Turn-Coordinator-Used-Beechcraft-Bonanza_294168556115.html#google_vignette
