Globe Motors (Now Allied) made the motor that's used in your blower assembly on the M20M. Below is a post that explains how to get in touch with them and have them "rebuild" it.

Is it the same for the bravo as it is for the ovation?

This question comes up frequently.  So, is there any kind of IPC cross reference?  When I was a teen, there was a big book at the local junk yard that would tell me if the rear end from a 1967 Cougar would fit a 1966 Mustang.  Seems like it would be useful.

I don't believe there is such a master cross-reference list... best you can likely do is acquire IPC's for as many models as possible and compare and contrast yourself when you're researching such issues.

I didn't even know Mooney put a blower on and now I'm curious when that change was made.  Earlier models just had an offtake tube from the fresh air vent...  (little "improvements" like this over time add up to a lot of weight!)

Yes, but it says Optional on the Ovation in the Parts book. It makes sense that it is standard on the M20M since it is flown often in the high teens and is certified up to FL250, where the defroster needs all the help it can get.

if its the same motor as on the ovation and eagle, This is the motor you need. It is an exact replacement of the one in there. @GeeBee created a thread a couple years back explaining the replacement process, but I have been unable to find it.

Hence the reason to send it back to Globe Motors mentioned above.
