OR75 Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 would appreciate any feedback on operation, reliability and how it works with an iPad, iPod or iPhone Thanks Quote
OR75 Posted March 28, 2012 Author Report Posted March 28, 2012 I am surprised no one has tried the AHRS Quote
podair Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 I just bought a second hand one. Fantastic. Using it with an old Ipod Touch, great standby AI. Quote
triple8s Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Yes, I have the iLevil mini G AHRS, and a Dual170/GPS/ADSB, these both feed into a "miniPad" on which I'm running SA FlyQ. I use the split screen feature so I have the SV and low altittude chart geo ref'd or an approach plate geo ref'd. I love it. For me the weak link is the minipad gets hot and takes a break once in a awhile if it is snapped into the mount. I can attach it to my knee board and it doesnt get hot, but the AHRS works good and seems to be very accurate. Quote
Cruiser Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 I just got the iLevil 2 AW, I think the ARHS are the same in all their models. I haven't flown with it yet. I should have a report later this week. Quote
kmyfm20s Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 I have one and it works well. I ended up switching to the GDL-39 for Garmin pilot because the new plane I got was all Garmin. With the iLevil I was using WingX Pro which I liked a lot. Quote
