I guess I'm pretty lucky my wife doesn't need to go as often. I throttle back on water just a bit to give myself some time, and we can easily make 4-5 hour legs without issue. There's only been one code yellow where we had to get down to go without question, and we were only 40 minutes from our destination. After that, I just limited the legs to 4 hours.

Finding new airports is fun, anyways. New FBO's, courtesy cars, etc. But if we had to do this every 1.5-2 hours, it'd probably be too much 'fun'.

This is all VFR. Much easier to adjust.

Flying in the teens means an unplanned stop is a good 30 minutes to get down to lower airports.

On coast-to-coast flights in his turbo 310, Mike Busch likes to stop at a high-altitude airport for that very reason.  Quicker to get down, and quicker to get back up.

To some of the gymnastics above- no pictures or it never happened :-)

You've never lived until you race to a deserted airport, stop on the runway, roll out the door and drop your pants right there!  ALWAYS carry TP You never know when it might happen :-) and NO towers at the airport!

Imodium can be your friend before a flight

As you get older you TBP time (Time Between Pees) gets shorter

Used to be 4 hrs now its 1 1/2 to 2 with us Besides we need to straighten up and walk a little.

Interestingly, Imodium is on the prohibited list of medications. Surprised me when I came across it a few years back.

It was a comment much like Montezuma's Revenge :-)

BUT I'm sure it has been used and IIRC even the military uses it or something similar on long deployments of single seat a/c.
