Those are rare.  Usually you gotta buy the whole strobe to get one.   Maybe somebody around here has one sitting on a shelf from an LED upgrade.  Good luck.

I do have some of those, let me see if they look better than yours. The problem is, they are plastic. If they were made right, they would be glass, but alas  they are what they are.

Yeah. All plastic. My starboard lens is gone. The port is badly crazed. I need to replace both. LEDs are cool but I can’t justify the cost at this point plus you give up useful load. Thank you!

I’m generally not a fan of changing out perfectly good and reliable lights for LEDs, but in your case it might make sense. I think you would gain useful load by going LED. You would lose the two power supplies in the wings. Either way the weight change would be negligible.

I see yeah. I don’t need the light, just the clear plastic lens that covers both nav/strobe on the wingtip. The part number is 210384-002   thx for looking!

Sorry, I misunderstood.

FYI, I just replaced mine, and while they come from GLAP, they quoted a 4+ week lead time.

Knots2U had them in stock for the same price.  For my M20 K 252, they were $373 each a few months ago.

I didn’t even ask knots about it..they only quoted me the LED assembly. I’ll call back to see if they have the lenses. Great info. Thank you so much. It’s amazing how expensive and non competitive these mooney parts are. I wa quoted 500 each. Just highway robbery but we’re a captive audience. Thx again.

Now you have me confused.

The lens is the yellowish cover that goes onto the strobe light itself and I feel sure isn’t available, your lucky if you can find a used light assembly, otherwise your most likely going LED, and we have a member that sells Whelen at a discount I think.

The cover, is the clear plastic aerodynamic wing tip.

IM sorry. Just the clear plexiglass cover that fits over the wingtips nav/strobe lights. You need it whether you have LED or old bulb style lights. It’s part number 210384-002, or aftermarket part number  W-2494.

Hoskins strobe power supplies weight about 1/3 lb.  I did go LED with the tail position/strobe and removed the power supply.  Surprisingly light.
