BrianWilkins Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 I am a CFI and own an E. I’m at C77, which isn’t far from you. Feel free to send me a message if you’d like me to assist you with your training. Quote

N201MKTurbo Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 You got some flying to do. Take a couple of weeks off and go flying. Might as well do some IFR training while you are at it, if you don’t have it already. Take your instructor and visit the four corners of the USA. 2 Quote

Joe Delogu Posted April 29, 2023 Author Report Posted April 29, 2023 The CFI must have 100 hrs retract, sorry for the confusion. 1 Quote

Joe Delogu Posted April 30, 2023 Author Report Posted April 30, 2023 Sorry I messed up the insurance requirements, It reads; Prior to solo, must receive not less than 10 hours dual flight instruction in the insured aircraft or one of the same make and model to include not less than 10 takeoff and full-stop landings. They must also obtain written approval from that Certified Flight Instructor or is current in make & model. corrected statement. Thanks Joe Quote

wombat Posted May 1, 2023 Report Posted May 1, 2023 Kind of funny. I meet the requirements to give him transition training. But I'm not comfortable enough in a Mooney right now to go fly my own plane without receiving transition training myself. 1 Quote
