Heard yesterday, while flying TCL to TMB (Cairns approach is a military field near Dothan, AL, part of Ft. Rucker where the US Army does TONS of helicopter training):

Cairns approach:   Cirrus 1234X turn right 15 degrees for traffic.

Mooney 1234X:  Right 15 degrees for traffic, Mooney 1234X.

Cairns approach:  Mooney 1234X I just called you Cirrus.   Didn't mean to cause offense.

Funny, flying back home from KBDL yesterday we herd several Mooneys in the air.  Not a single Cirrus.

My friend in the right seat (also a pilot) commented that only Mooney pilots were flying.
