Anybody flying in texas be safe with this ice storm. Our runway is currently covered in ice making a great place to tow kids on tubes behind golf carts.

When I was much younger, the crazies (not me!) would do donuts on the frozen Ohio river when we had really cold/freezing temps…

I'm sorry. Missed your post. I have the trainer waiting on a mag and in annual. The traveler is still in question. I have an Fmodel possibility with good chance of getting the go ahead.

Just an update on my efforts on getting a club up and running. 

In a word, frustrating. I am to the point of buying a plane that I want, and then offer up to partner's, and then to a club. I've had several folks offer, maybe 20 people, but no one actually putting money where their mouth is. 

I am not giving up. Plugging forward.
