Need Master Switch (not master avionics) for M20K

Hi. I own a 1979 Mooney M20K

N922PT

Serial Number 25-0273

 

 

Trying to locate/purchase a “master” power switch. The one I’ve got is failing and working only part of the time.

It’s summer…

Many Relays have taken a holiday…

Check to see if your switch isn’t working or if it is the relay that is connected to it…

Switches can be ridiculously expensive… but aircraft spruce has them… the Master is a lower cost switch because it isn’t a CB.

Your local MSC probably has them as well…

If you don’t have a local MSC… find Dan at Lasar…

Bust out the voltmeter…

Prove your switch working first… then find the relay… relays often fail quietly… sometimes they buzz instead….
