Heck if I know...I was of course kidding about being interested in a frac. deal.  If I had an extra 100K laying around the last place I'd put it right now is in a small private airstrip...but it's fun to imagine

A newish airpark in the Texas Hill Coutry opened not all that long ago, but before the financial problems. All the lots sold in almost record time. The interest was amazing to me.

I believe another airport in NC is for sale.. GOOSE CREEK.. Just East of Charlotte.  Don't know the price but it's been for sale for a while. I think it was on Barnstormers.

Another NC Airport , GOLD HILL, is a residential community (abt 20mi E) and is not sold out.

Sugar Valley is WEST of WInston Salem and has both paved and water runways !!
