Possible dynon AP workaround?

I was looking at Dynon and they can talk to my garmin 530w and my 530w can talk to a GI275 which can talk to my KFC-150. So could this work until dynon finally gets the AP approved and then i could just remove the GI275 and tie in the dynon with the AP?

I would go with the least amount of work personally. Doing something not to replace it later sounds like the perfect way to spend more money than one would like. 

 

As John said, i would take dual gi275 over the Dynon system, and the gfc500 would be available now for a digital ap, versus waiting for a ap that may not be approved for some time. Thought, if you have a kap150, id just keep using that for now.

can't the 530 talk to the KFC 150 directly?  I think you may need a box to to make it fly approaches

You're probably thinking of some GNSS box, like the GDC31 from DAC; I think Icarus SAM also does GNSS, as do the GI275 from Garmin.
