West Central FL F, J or K model owners ?

getting close to purchase decision in the next few months, have my eyes on J or K models.

have only every flown in an E model.

any mooneyspacers around the Tampa Bay area ?  ( my home airport is KSPG Saint Petersburg )

would love to meet up and check out your bird, mostly to check out the backseat legroom and additional space from the longer body.

The back seat legroom depends on who is sitting in the front seat...

The mid-body Mooneys have 10” more space to work with...

You may want to bring your front seater and back seater with you...  

Compared to your E experience... the 10” will feel luxurious...

I'll be down that way next week with my M20F and will be parking at X39 or KCLW.  Should be in FL for 2 or so weeks, I would be happy to do some flying around with you.

the back seaters are mostly cargo and a dog sometimes

Plenty of room for a 100 lb German shepherd and a 50 lb chow plus cargo.  You will need to mod the back seat to lay it flat if your prospective J or K has a bench seat.  PM me and I can send you the pdf I found back when I bought my 262.  
 

if you are up around X35 let me know and we can meet at my airport.  There are two of us K owners. I also may try and get airborne this weekend if schedule permits.  If so I can head your way.

haha !  now that photo, looks *exactly* like my mission !

 

KSPG is my home airport,  if you get down this way lunch is on me, so makes it only a $90 hamburger ?
