thinwing Posted October 21, 2019 Report Posted October 21, 2019 Well another high Sierra flyin and stol race wrapped up on Sunday with the biggest turnout in ten years.500 aircraft and 1500 folks (reported not official)braving high dusty winds and cold frosty mornings out on Dead Cow lake playa (Flanigan lake).Competion was very close now that Draco was out of action.I saw one at least one Mooney flyin. thinwing Posted October 21, 2019 Author Report Posted October 21, 2019 One of the paramoters Pilots was having control issues attempting to foot launch.His chute kept collapsing.He finally hooked in with back injury’s.Organizer had onsight emt on sight and he was medivaced to Reno with in 20 min Quote
