Here I am flying back from Canada, transitioning through Ottawa terminal, when a voice comes through on my second radio and it's non other than the Canada's friendliest Mooney pilot, Yves (sorry Ned, you can't get that title every year). He tried flashing me from his house but from 7,000ft I didn't notice.

Then he drops the big proposal on me, he says "Mike, will you honor me by flying on my wing in this year's Mooney Caravan." I was a bit taken aback. I wasn't ready for this kind of commitment! I had just spent over 20 hours in 4 days flying aboot Canada and wasn't quite thinking straight when I blurted out, "yes!" I think I saw "Mike, will you fly with me?" in big letters in Yves back yard but hard to make out from 7k. So there you have it, I'm flying #2 with Yves at 2019 Mooney Caravan. Actual audio (if successful) will probably be in my upcoming video about Canada flying.

He called me yesterday and indicated some radio conversations had taken place with you, but nothing was said about,  well, you know.... the act.

I am shocked.....truly shocked.

As “Joker” once told me after watching me emulate our “Snoopy’s” own Happy Dance:  Some things can never be “unseen.”

:lol::lol:
