Help understanding fuel tab gauges in M20J

I . 1978 M20J and don't understand how to read the triangle gauges inside the tank. Where exactly is the mark for 25 gallons?  Is it at the very bottom or somewhere on the gauge itself?  Thanks in advance

Don't confuse the float with the tab. The 25 gallon tab looks like an L bracket and is fairly close to the top.

My fuel tabs are triangle and say 'Gallons' on them. Also have a circle cut out in middle. Where is the 25 gallon mark?

i believe 25 is at the bottom of the triangular tab

add 7 gallons and it will get you to a full tank (about an inch below the cap)
