LASAR Posted August 14, 2018 Report Posted August 14, 2018 Only 3 weeks from the fly in at LASAR. We are partnering this year with Lake County for their Splash in event, so there will be a bunch of airplanes in the area. If you can make it, please sign up here so we know how many burgers/beer (Wheres the Turtle?) to buy! Hope to see you September 7-9 in Lakeport! 1 Quote
Pritch Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 I may make it on Sunday, depends on the smoke and coast fog Pritch Quote

Seth Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 Glad this event is still occuring. I'm too far away and will not be there, and wish you the best in hoping it's a great event! -Seth 1 Quote
LASAR Posted August 29, 2018 Author Report Posted August 29, 2018 *** FLY-IN UPDATE*** We have decided to cancel the Fly-in that was scheduled for September 7-9, and reschedule for May 18-19, 2019. Please mark you calendar. Between many scheduling conflicts, and the fact that much of Lake County is still under a dense cloud of smoke from the fires, we felt it was best to focus our efforts on an event that would work for everyone. If you still want to fly in to Lakeport, the Splash-in event put on by the city is still a go! You can find out more information here. We appreciate your understanding, and wish you a happy end of Summer! Dustin 1 Quote
Lance Link Posted August 30, 2018 Report Posted August 30, 2018 Probably an excellent move. The smoke and haze has been really, really bad around here most of the time. And who knows, by May, I might be willing to land the plane with people watching.... 1 Quote
