I like the idea Jerry, sort of...

But, your O isn't scheduled to emit any CO to the cabin for years...

201er is looking for a test he can run now...

The only method we have so far requires sitting on the sensor and flying, post a bean laden lunch... :)

All joking aside, I got the version that vibrates. I clipped it to my shirt (or even to the shoulder belt), and the vibration is so strong that you immediately notice it.  Yes, a friend's airplane had a high reading, and the alarm on my chest went off immediately. No way you can miss it.  Works well.
