Reminds me of the time I flew into BFE.

For years, I thought that was a place in Egypt.  :P

Ha....!  We flew a celebrity into there and the entire town showed up.  All 25 people!  :lol:

Anyone who served in our military is very familiar with BFE since that seems to be where 90% of the duty stations are located!  :o

Asheboro isnt very hilly--used to make business trips there a lot. It's also a dry county . . . :(  So we drove up to Greensboro for cold beer in the evenings.

Adding the ICAO K also makes some interesting identifiers.

Ever spent the night in KRAP?  Or Hillary's airpirt:  KLIT?

My wife gleefully pointed out once that "it SUX to go to KRAP" as we were headed there from Iowa to spend the night and do some sightseeing. It was all right there in the 430 . . .
