Unfortunately, my trust mechanic does not do instruments. So, if anyone knows a good IA around Virginia or North Carolina, I would like to hear about it. I'm looking to get some old school avionics installed and I'd like to avoid paying $90/hr for the local shop if I can.

I hear spark masters at KTTA is good. I was going to get my new panel and upgrades done there but they were 4 months out. so I settled for avionics shop in sanford, NC. They did good work but took 21/2 months (said it would take 4 weeks) and then tried to gouge me on bill.

Tail wind Aviation in Beaufort NC is a new avionics shop.  They did my IFR recert and I have seen some panels they have done.  Looked Good.  Call Kevin Snyder at 252. 515.4081
