Cure time on window adhesive

I'm planning to install new windows in my E in the next couple of weeks.  What kind of cure time can I expect to see at 40 degrees (F)?  I'd like to knock it out in a weekend if possible, but I have a 3rd-hand report of it taking a week or two to cure on another guy's plane...and that was in summer.

Thanks!

AirMods in NJ did my windows earlier this year.  Turn around time was about 4 days.  They said there wouldn't be any issues flying the plane as soon as they were done with the install.  You might want to call them to get it from the horses mouth.  OBTW I was very happy with the work

  • 3 weeks later...

I replaced all the side glass but not the wind shield because I plan on switching over to a 201 style later this year.  Updated the side glass from the 3 window F style to the "picture window" 201 style.  Used 1/4 plex with grey tint and UV protection.  Total charge was $2900.
