I have been a member of Mooneyspace for a while now and it has been a great tool to obtain information in my quest for a Mooney. On Saturday, I picked up a new (to me) 1977 M20J and had the absolute pleasure of piloting this craft from Michigan to Alabama on my maiden voyage. I'm all in. What type of initiation rituals do I need to go through?

for the initiation you need to shave your head and get "Mooney Nut" and the Mooney logo tattooed on your left arm and run around the hangar screaming in ecstasy.

Only other thing I can think of for your initiation would be to install an " Angle of Attack Indicator" and post photos on MS.

 

That one really gets the posters going and you will then be fully pledged.

Congrats!   I think my "initiation ritual" as a total newbie was pulling MAP back to 18" while holding altitude to get to Vlo and wondering what magical power was keeping the plane from slowing down.

Tennessee friends are always welcome.  We are actually heading to Tennessee on October 10 for the AOPA fly-in at Tullahoma.  Camping spot is reserved and hoping for good weather.
