jrwilson Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 Anyone know of a source for the plastic cover for the emergency gear extension handle? The corner on mine is broken. I checked plane plastics and didn't see it.
TWinter Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 You might call them and ask. I needed a few pieces that were not on the website. They looked them up in house and had what I needed. Just was not shown on their webpage. Might get lucky. -Tom
Ned Gravel Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 Why would anyone put a plastic cover on a Johnson bar? Sorry, couldn't help myself. Ned Gravel Lucky steward of C-FSWR, a '65 E model at Rockcliffe, Ontario, (CYRO) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ned Gravel Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 Clarence: You are up early. I am in London on my way home. I will try and call you tomorrow.
FBCK Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 Plane Plastics has them, they quoted me on on last year (along with a bunch of stuff), cant remember the price however. Canadain dollar then went to garabage so I didn't proceed.
laurent Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 hi guy I repaired mine with 2 pieces of aluminium in order to consolidate it and made the finishing with 3M #05900. It' s a automotive product for repairing plastic and you can paint it. Laurent
Topseeder Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Is there a source for emergency gear extension covers? The one in my '77 201 has met it's maker! Fred
jetdriven Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Lasar had it for 77$. Curiously it had a vantage plane plastics sticker on it but they couldn't find it when I called them. Skip the placard it's 50$ extra for an arrow deca.
