Mooneymite Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 I wonder what the story is on it. Quote
HRM Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 I wonder what the story is on it. I think "sitting outside in Florida" and "some surface corrosion" says it all. Sad. 1 Quote
BigTex Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Yep... original radios, nothing there... might be good for a flight school to do some complex training. Fly it until until you need an engine and part it out or sell it for not much less than you paid for it. Quote
tonyk628 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Thing has been listed and relisted a couple times. Sat outside in Florida... Quote
Alan Fox Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Its worth 17 in parts , those old radios are worth 6 K alone.... Quote

This J has had a couple of gear up incidents. 2001 and 2005...same owner both times. then after he sold it it went to the west coast. Quote

Sure…. but... It is clearly acknowledged in the description, and I thought the general Mooneyspace consensus was that a properly repaired gear up is better than new. To inspect in the pre buy if it was done properly…. Quote

Wakeup Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 The J looks like a great plane... I would love to have it!! Quote
