Anybody have the floor demintions off hand or in their notes for a M20E or C for that matter. I've got a line on some carpeting scrap and could piece together some new carpet! Away from our airplane for the next few days. Baggage x by x,

Main spar to firewall. Finally over all width at its widest point...

Thanks!

Hate to be the guy who responds to a question with an opinion, but, here you go anyway...

Seems like an awful lot of work measuring and cutting when Airtex makes a carpet pretty cheap....plus Airtex carpets have burn test certification.  Do these scraps have burn tests?

All good JR, Yes I do. That's why I'm going thru the trouble. High end wool carpet left over from another project with certs. I currently have the Airtex carpet even from 2010 in the M20e. It's pretty much crap, doesn't fit, cheap looking, slides around. Just tired of looking at it. If figure I'd be willing to pay the value of the Airtex to have it bound. I'll be our to the airplane and make a template next week. Just trying to figure out if the piecesi have will work.

Thanks

I redid the entire floor in my bird with aircraft grade vinyl. I prefer floor mats. What I did to make it fit perfectly is take the seats out, and tape a bunch of sheets of paper together after trimming them. Then I removed the whole peice and traced it onto the vinyl. It worked real nicely.
